On a recent trip, the villages were quiet. The slower pace—clearly ordained by the Lord—allowed our team to focus on one severely dehydrated and critically ill baby who was having seizures.
A government medical boat had refused to stop in her village days earlier, and the family was told nothing could be done.
But God, in His providential timing, had placed two children’s hospital professionals on our team. They administered IV fluids, and over several hours, the baby began showing signs of life—even shedding a tear. It was a miracle.
She still faces a long road to recovery, but without God’s perfect timing, her story would have ended very differently - her family is not mourning today. Instead, they have hope.
